As a seasoned author, she has spent the past 25 years cultivating her craft, effortlessly switching between reading and writing various projects simultaneously. Shelton's Charlie Parker series, set against the diverse landscapes of Kauai and New Mexico, follows the investigations of Charlie Parker and her husband as they travel across the United States. Her Samantha Sweet series, meanwhile, is set in the charming town of Taos, New Mexico.
