Colin Cotterill is a renowned author, educator, and humanitarian, driven by a passion for storytelling and a commitment to social justice. Born in London, he has spent his career traversing the globe, working as a Physical Education instructor in Israel, a primary school teacher in Australia, a counselor for educationally handicapped adults in the US, and a university lecturer in Japan. His later years have been marked by extensive work in Southeast Asia, where he taught and trained teachers in Thailand and on the Burmese border. In Laos, he collaborated with UNESCO on a groundbreaking language teaching series for Thai national television. As a champion of child protection, Colin has dedicated himself to combating human trafficking and exploitation. He established a non-governmental organization in Phuket and later worked with ECPAT, an international organization combating child prostitution and pornography, developing their training program for caregivers.
