Cameron. Born in 1962 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Cameron spent his formative years in multiple locations, including Rockport, Massachusetts, Iowa City, Iowa, and Rochester, New York, where he graduated from the University of Rochester with a degree in history. After completing his undergraduate degree in an unusually lengthy period of seven years, Cameron embarked on a distinguished naval career, serving as an intelligence officer and backseater in S-3 Vikings during the First Gulf War and other deployments. Following a decade of service, he transitioned to a full-time writing career in 2000, now residing in Toronto with his family.
