Chris Wooding is a prolific author, writer, and screenwriter, whose professional writing career spans over two decades. Born and raised in a small Leicestershire town, he began writing novels at a young age, completing his first at sixteen. By eighteen, he secured an agent, and by nineteen, he had signed his first book deal. After university, he dedicated himself to writing full-time, producing over twenty books, many of which have been translated into twenty languages, winning prestigious awards, and published globally. His works also extend to film and television, with several projects in development. A seasoned world traveler, Chris has backpacked across Europe and North America, Scandinavia, South East Asia, Japan, and South Africa, and has lived in Madrid. He lives in London and continues to write and create.
