Chris Hammer is a renowned Australian author and journalist, renowned for his insightful reporting from around the world. With extensive experience in Canberra, Chris has held various prestigious roles, including chief political correspondent for The Bulletin, current affairs correspondent for SBS TV, and senior political journalist for The Age. His critically acclaimed debut novel, The River, published in 2010, won the ACT Book of the Year Award and was shortlisted for the Walkley Book Award and the Manning Clark House National Cultural Award.
