Charlotte Bingham Books in Order

Charlotte Bingham is a British author, born on June 29, 1942, in Haywards Heath, England. Growing up in a family of writers, she was influenced by her father, John Bingham, the 7th Baron Clanmorris, a secret MI5 member and detective story writer, and her mother, Madeleine Bingham, a playwright. Educated in London and at the Priory of Our Lady's Good Counsel school, Charlotte developed her writing skills from a young age, penning her first thriller, Death's Ticket, at 10. Her humorous autobiography, Coronet Among the Weeds, was published by Heinemanns in 1963, becoming a bestseller. This success led to her first novel, Lucinda, published in 1966, which was later adapted into a TV screenplay. Charlotte's second autobiography, Coronet Among the Grass, was released in 1972, detailing the first decade of her marriage.
