Charlie Higson Books in Order
Charlie Higson is a multifaceted creative talent, equally at home in music, comedy, and fiction. Educated at Sevenoaks School and the University of East Anglia, where he befriended fellow creatives Paul Whitehouse, David Cummings, and Terry Edwards, Higson's early career saw him front the band The Higsons. After a stint as a plasterer, he turned to writing and performing comedy, teaming with Whitehouse for projects like Harry Enfield and The Fast Show (1994-2000). As a writer, producer, and occasional star, Higson worked on Randall & Hopkirk (Deceased) and Swiss Toni, the latter a BBC Three sitcom based on his Fast Show character. He continues to write and act, appearing in shows like Tittybangbang and QI. As a novelist, Higson has explored dystopian themes in four works that delve into the darker aspects of everyday life, earning him praise from Time Out as 'The missing link between Dickens and Kafka'.
