Cate Glass is a writer of the fantasy adventure series Chimera, penned by Carol Berg, a renowned and bestselling author of epic fantasy novels and novellas. With a penchant for the fantastical, Carol has spent much of her life immersed in the realms of Middle Earth, Camelot, Amber, Wonderland, and other mythic worlds. A mathematician and software engineer by training, Carol's academic pursuits at Rice University and the University of Colorado laid the foundation for her voracious reading habits and studies in English and History of Art. After a stint as a software development engineer, Carol turned to writing as a hobby, eventually giving rise to the Chimera series. When not conjuring worlds, Carol indulges in movies, TV shows, and outdoor adventures with her mechanical engineer spouse and their three sons, who share her love for music, teaching, software, carpentry, rocket science, and ice hockey.
