Carrie Fountain Books in Order

Carrie Fountain is a celebrated American poet, novelist, and writer. Born and raised in Mesilla, New Mexico, she rose to prominence with the National Poetry Series win for her debut collection, Burn Lake, published by Penguin in 2010. Her subsequent collection, Instant Winner, was also released by Penguin in 2014. Fountain's distinctive voice and style have been featured in prominent literary journals, including Tin House, Poetry, and The New Yorker. As a respected literary figure, she has held a fellowship at the James A. Michener Center for Writers at the University of Texas and currently serves as writer-in-residence at St. Edward's University in Austin, where she lives with her husband and two children. Her fiction debut, I'm Not Missing, was published by Flatiron Books in 2018, marking a new chapter in her versatile and accomplished career.
