Bianca Marais Books in Order

Bianca Marais is a celebrated author, educator, and advocate for the Own Voices movement. She currently teaches creative writing at the University of Toronto's School of Continuing Studies, where she earned her Certificate in Creative Writing. In addition to her writing career, Marais founded a corporate training company and dedicated her time to volunteering with Cotlands, supporting care workers in Soweto as they provided aid to HIV/AIDS orphans and their caregivers. Passionate about amplifying underrepresented voices, she leads programs through the Eunice Ngogodo Own Voices Initiative in South Africa, empowering women of colour to share their stories. Marais resides in Toronto, continuing to inspire and educate through her writing and community work.
