Ayọ̀bámi Adébáyọ̀ is a rising literary star whose captivating stories have garnered international recognition. Her work has been featured in various magazines and anthologies, including a highly commended piece in the 2009 Commonwealth short story competition. A highly accomplished scholar, she holds degrees in Literature in English from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ife, as well as an MA in creative writing from the University of East Anglia, where she was awarded an international bursary. Notably, Adébáyọ̀ has been a recipient of fellowships and residencies from esteemed institutions such as Ledig House, Hedgebrook, and Ox-Bow. Her debut novel, STAY WITH ME, was published to critical acclaim in 2017, released by Canongate, Ouida Books, Knopf, Kwani?, and others, catapulting her to the forefront of contemporary literary voices.
