Armando Lucas Correa is a Cuban writer, currently residing in Manhattan with his partner and their three children. As a renowned author, he has received numerous outstanding achievement awards from the National Association of Hispanic Publications and the Society of Professional Journalism. His literary career took off with the publication of En busca de Emma (In Search of Emma: Two Fathers, One Daughter and the Dream of a Family) in 2007 and 2009, which will be released in English in 2021. Correa's breakthrough novel, The German Girl/La niña alemana, was published in 2016 to international acclaim, becoming an international bestseller and being translated into 14 languages, spanning over 30 countries.
