Annie Barrows Books in Order

Annie Barrows is a versatile writer and editor, whose diverse career spans multiple genres and age groups. Born in Northern California, she graduated from the University of California at Berkeley with a degree in Medieval History before pursuing a career in editing. Barrows eventually landed at Chronicle Books in San Francisco, where she oversaw a unique selection of titles. She further honed her craft with an M.F.A. in Creative Writing from Mills College. As Ann Fiery, Barrows has written numerous books for adults, exploring topics such as fortune-telling, urban legends, and opera. In 2003, she shifted her focus to writing for children, finding it a more enjoyable and fulfilling experience, and has since become a celebrated author of children's literature.
