Anna Hope is a critically acclaimed English writer and actress from Manchester. She has achieved success in both the literary and acting worlds, notably as Novice Hame in the popular television series Doctor Who. Educated at Wadham College, Oxford, The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, London, and Birkbeck College, London, Hope's diverse academic background has fostered her unique approach to storytelling. Her powerful debut novel, WAKE, was sold in a highly competitive seven-way auction to Transworld Publishers and has since been published in several countries, including a Doubleday hardback release in early 2014. The novel masterfully weaves the stories of three women around the Unknown Soldier's historic journey.
