Ann Patchett Books in Order
Ann Patchett is a celebrated American novelist and author of numerous critically acclaimed works. Born in Los Angeles, California, she was raised in Nashville, Tennessee, where she currently resides with her husband and their beloved dog. Patchett's writing career began at a young age, heavily influenced by her mother, the novelist Jeanne Ray. She attended St. Bernard Academy, a private Catholic school for girls, and later honed her craft at Sarah Lawrence College, where she studied under esteemed authors Allan Gurganus, Russell Banks, and Grace Paley. Patchett's writing continued to flourish at the Iowa Writers' Workshop and the Fine Arts Work Center, where she wrote her debut novel, The Patron Saint of Liars.
