Angela Slatter Books in Order

Angela Slatter is a highly acclaimed author of urban fantasy novels and short story collections. Her notable works include Vigil, Corpselight, The Girl with No Hands and Other Tales, Sourdough and Other Stories, The Bitterwood Bible and Other Recountings, and A Feast of Sorrows: Stories. A multiple award-winning writer, Slatter has received a World Fantasy Award, a British Fantasy Award, a Ditmar, and six Aurealis Awards. Her short stories have been published in various anthologies, including The Mammoth Book of New Horror, The Year's Best Dark Fantasy and Horror, and The Best Horror of the Year. Her work has been translated into multiple languages, including Bulgarian, Russian, Spanish, Japanese, Polish, and Romanian. One of her short stories has been optioned for film by Victoria Madden of Sweet Potato Films. Slatter holds an MA and PhD in Creative Writing, is a graduate of Clarion South 2009 and the Tin House Summer Writers Workshop 2006, and was awarded the Queensland Writers Fellowship in 2013. She has also held the Established Writer-in-Residence position at the Katharine Susannah Prichard Writers Centre in Perth.
