Andrea Carter is a versatile author whose writing career spans multiple continents. Born in northern British Columbia, Canada, she developed a passion for storytelling as a child, often sneaking into a neighbour's house to play with their typewriter. After raising four children and establishing a successful career as a freelance illustrator/graphic designer, she transitioned into writing, initially creating character profiles for newsletters and introductions to cookbooks. Her experience as editor/production manager of a lifestyle magazine in Spain further nurtured her writing skills, inspiring her to focus on fiction. Now, she draws from her experiences living in South America, including time in Bolivia and Chile, to craft compelling stories. Her notable works include two novels and a collection of short stories.
