Amy McCulloch is a Chinese-White author, born in the UK and raised in Ottawa, Canada, currently based in London. She crafts captivating stories for children and young adults, with seven novels already released and translations in over ten languages. As a seasoned publishing professional, she previously served as editorial director for Penguin Random House Children's Books. Her influence in the industry was recognised when she was named one of The Bookseller's Rising Stars in 2013. When not writing, Amy fuels her adventurous spirit through travel, hiking, and mountaineering, having achieved the notable feat of climbing Mt Manaslu in Nepal – the world's eighth highest mountain – in 2019.
