Amy Hatvany is a contemporary author known for her poignant and relatable novels. Born in Seattle, WA, she began her journey as a sociology graduate of Western Washington University in 1994. However, she soon discovered a new passion in writing. After taking a chance and pursuing her dream, Amy published her debut novel, THE KIND OF LOVE THAT SAVES YOU, in 2000 through Bantam Doubleday. This breakthrough led to her next publication, THE LANGUAGE OF SISTERS, which was released in 2002 by NAL. As a writer, Amy continues to captivate audiences with her engaging stories. In her personal life, she is devoted to her blended family, including her husband, Stephan, and their three children, Scarlett, Miles, and Anna, as well as their two beloved dogs, Kenda and Dolcé. When not writing, Amy can be found indulging in her favorite activities, such as reading, cooking, or watching reality television shows.
