Alison Littlewood is a British author known for her dark, atmospheric fiction. Born and raised in Penistone, South Yorkshire, she shifted her academic focus mid-degree from graphic design to a joint English and History course at Northumbria University. After a career in marketing, she discovered her passion for writing fiction and hasn't looked back. Her debut novel, A Cold Season, was chosen for the Richard and Judy Book Club in 2011, drawing readers in with its eerie, wintery atmosphere. Since then, she has captivated audiences with her unique blend of dark fiction and historical settings. Her latest novel, The Crow Garden, weaves together obsession and the supernatural in the eerie backdrop of Victorian asylums and séance rooms. Alison resides in Yorkshire with her partner Fergus, surrounded by the rolling hills and dales that inspire her writing. When not crafting tales of folklore and weird history, she can be found sipping Earl Grey tea, accompanied by her enthusiastic Dalmatians.
