Adrian McKinty is an acclaimed Irish novelist. Born in Belfast, Northern Ireland, he spent his formative years in Victoria Council Estate, Carrickfergus, County Antrim. A scholar, McKinty read law at the University of Warwick and politics and philosophy at the University of Oxford. In the early 1990s, he relocated to the United States, initially settling in Harlem, New York, before making Denver, Colorado, his home from 2001. During his tenure in Denver, he taught high school English while cultivating his passion for fiction. Today, McKinty resides in Melbourne, Australia, with his wife and two children, continuing to weave his unique narrative voice.
